The CVS Development Process

A special feature of the CVS is that it includes an individual development process. We believe that good career development requires an individual to understand both their strengths and their development needs (possible weaknesses).

The CVS can enhance your personal and professional development and effectiveness by helping you to analyze, identify, and better understand your work-related strengths and development needs.

The Development Process provides a structure to enable you to identify skills and work-related personality traits and characteristics that you may feel are in need of further development and/or management in order to enhance your overall career success and satisfaction and your professional effectiveness. You can then create a development plan to address these needs.

As a result of the Development Process, you can capitalize on your strengths, and learn to compensate for, develop, and/or manage more effectively your weaknesses (development needs).
